Ok so maybe a small bit of ipod pushing, but this video further proves that music therapy is a serious health profession that helps many people when nothing else seems to.

We warn you, This video is seriously emotional

We The People used on ITV Champions League Coverage

We would like to thank  ITV for using “We The People” from our debut album Build Me A Swan.

It feels pretty sweet hearing your music coming back at you through your television set.

So I decided to venture out on our of our days off touring on the “oul” bicycle to get myself a little bit of exercise and to also utilise it as an opportunity to hopefully capture a few more shots for this here blog.

First off I took this shot from behind an unsuspecting couple. I know I know that sounds so creepy but as I said in one of the previous blogs sometimes the most unexpected scenario can throw up some fabulous results. It’s a shame it wasn’t an elderly couple as I think that would have added a bit more weight to the sentiment of two people enjoy an evening sunset together on a park bench.

Of course I did play around with the temperature and tint of the colours within the original photo to come up with the finished product.

I decided not to lurk behind this coupe for too long as I might have heard a siren or two and seen some blue flashy lights heading in my general direction for bordering too much on the voyeuristic side of things. So I saddled up again in search of something else to capture.

I managed to find a fairly secluded spot further on and by this time the sun was setting very fast and it was beginning to leave me with limited options.

I did although manage this shot which is a little more cluttered than most but I have always found tree branches to be very interesting against a background. The way they almost look like cracks in the scenery as if it was being viewed from an aerial position or something. It’s a bit hard to describe if I’m honest but hopefully you get the gist of where I am going with this.

How to deal with people who cut in line

I thinks its fair to say we have all been in this position a couple of times in our lifetime, I know I certainy have and by God, it infuriates me to the point of self-combustion. Can someone please please please tell me what’s the rush?

I think we can all learn something from Larry David on this topic and I may just put some of his techniques into practice the next time we pull the van over to the next available services station whilst trekking up and down the length and breath of UK and in need of a coffee/hot chocolate top up.

Tron Light Dance

So I was doing the usual troll through of all things interesting on youtube and I came across this super cool light suit dance routine being performed in Japan.

I have to give it to these guys they have done a smashig job with this, the movements accompanied by the lighting is nothing short of breathaking.

I think I may just have to watch Tron all over again after seeing this

Photography Pt 6

Here’s a couple of shots I took from strolling in the park just before the brief bout of snow we encountered quite recently.

I love the way the flower looks all frosted and wintery, mind you it was pretty baltic that morning.

And finally I will leave you with a shot which I quite like of Peppo, whilst he was   laying down some ivory in the home studio one afternoon.

Oil Diggers pockets….

Well it’s come to this time of the four year cycle once again. That means it’s time for Obama and all of the opposing republican candidates to start making some good friends with deep pockets to try and win the U.S presidential race. For the Republicans I’m sure that the oil companies will certainly come to the rescue once again. If they do manage to win, let’s hope this time it won’t result in a war mongering lunatic getting in to office, that’s right George Bush please take a bow.

A lecturer once told me, “The U.S presidential race is a nastiest game around, whether you’re republican or democrat, no one gets to the top of the ladder over there without scratching so many backs, that by the time you’re in the hot seat, you owe a lot of people, a lot of things. And these people want to be paid back with interest, PRONTO”.

With quite a few of the caucuses behind us and the governor ofMassachusetts, Mitt Romey back in the lead for the Republican Party nomination, there have been a few casualties and a few campaigns derailed along the way. They have come in a variety of ways, from sex scandals to not knowing what you would do when you get in to the White house, with this last one being my personal favourite. In the nationally televised debate, Republican presidential hopeful Rick Perry, who coincidentally sounds like a WWF wrestler was asked what organisations he would scrap if he got the top job. Here is Ricks answer below. Absolutely brilliant…

Whatever happens between now and the 6th of November I think the world better be hoping that Obama gets his second term. He might not have lived up to every promise he made but I do honestly believe that he has tried to, and will continue to do so, that’s a lot more then many of his counterparts have ever done (and probably the republicans)

4 more years!!!!!

Photography (Part 5)

I decided to go trudging through some of the photo’s I have taken whilst being back in Dublin seeing as I had no camera for my last visit bar my iphone. I managed to stumble across this one which I really love and had completely forgotten about. It was orginally much brighter but seeing as it is a statue which is depicting the famine of Ireland from 1845-1852 I thought it best to alter the photo ever so slightly.

I decided to boost the colour and then turn it to black and white which has given the face of the statue to me a far more gaunt and haunting look and for some reason completely unbeknown to myself added a gold or bronze kind of tinge.

This Chuck Norris Facts over the top parody thingy is going around at the moment…some of them are pretty good…

When Alexander Bell invented the telephone he had 3 missed calls from Chuck Norris

Chuck Norris can play Xbox with a Playstation controller

All this talk of Chuck Norris being so tough is bullshit, if he was so tough he would come in now and smash my head on this keybo;app;efauruepiuhytgiukjgh

Chuck Norris can feel sound

Chuck Norris doesn’t read books, he stares at them till they give him the information he wants

The Delta Force is not a movie, it’s a documentary

Chuck Norris already found the “X” on the map

Chuck Norris flosses with bicycle chains

If Chuck Norris hits himself, he’ll create an infinite loop by countering each blow, a paradox no one can solve…except Chuck Norris

Disclaimer! In real life Chuck Norris is a creationist which is a very polite way of saying he’s a delusional man who only has sex in the missionary position.

I came across this guy a little while ago whilst looking for some “drive thru pranks”. Since then I’ve been absolutely hooked to his YouTube channel.

The array of characters he has created for different scenario’s is amazing. I would be very surprised if he wasn’t brought to a TV screen near you real soon.

So without further a do, I give you EdBassMaster.

Oh the sheer irony of it.

We all know what a brilliant addition to an online business Google Analytics etc have become. But then theres also what the consumer sees on the opposite end of the spectrum. Well, now some genius has decided to make a real life Google Analytics vid.

Usually you would be pulling your hair out at your computer but instead you might as well just chuckle to yourself or even laugh out loud. I know I did.

Truly Brilliant.
